Week 4

   January 30-February 3, 2017

MONDAY, January 30
* Quotable Quotes
* Student analysis and explanation of STAAR formatted question stem.
* Students finalize expository essay.
* Student evaluate  their expository essay with a rubric. (Whole essay)

TUESDAY, January 31
* Students choose the best essay from the group and transfer it on a large easel paper for presentation.
* Presentation of essaY

WEDNESDAY, February 1
   *Quotable Quotes and student explanation
   * Student analysis and explanation of STAAR formatted question stem.
   * Presentations continue
   
        THURSDAY, February 2
    *Quotable Quotes and student explanation
   * Student analysis and explanation of STAAR formatted question stem.
   *Students evaluate another paragraph and revise it.
   * They focus on clarity by removing unnecessary words.
   * Student evaluation of their expository essay with a rubric. (Body paragraphs)

    FRIDAY, February 3
     *Quotable Quotes and student explanation
   * Student analysis and explanation of STAAR formatted question stem.
   * Students evaluate their conclusions and revise them.

STUDENTS WHO MAY NOT HAVE TURNED IN THE BOOK REPORT ON TIME, PROCRASTINATE NO MORE.FIVE GRADES ARE AT STAKE!


5th BOOK REPORT WITH SUMMARY DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 9TH
