MONDAY, March 28
 *MOTIVATE STUDENTS TO DO WELL ON THE STAAR WRITING!
 * Dialogue with students about areas they are still struggling in.
 * Review the expository strategies: introduction, body, conclusion.
 * Attention grabbers, controlling idea, point, example, explanation, link (PEEL)
 * Types of examples: history, entertainment, literature, personal experience (HELP)
 * Insight, rephrasing, summarizing, advise (IRSA)
 * Go over the weakest SE's on the revising and editing part of DBM#2
 * Use higher level questioning.

* Introduce students to diagramming and poetry writing.

 * More revising and editing questions analyzed answer choice by answer choice
 * Use higher DOK's for questioning.
 * "Read as WRITERS; write as READERS."
