* Go over rules & procedures
* Student analysis and explanation of STAAR formatted question stem.
* Introduce and explain comma rules in sentences with the acronym FOILC (fanboys, opener, interrupter, list, closer).
* Student evaluation of their expository essay with a rubric. (Introduction)

TUESDAY, January 10
*Quotable Quotes and student explanation
* Student analysis and explanation of STAAR formatted question stem.
*  Explain the first two comma rules in sentences: fanboys and opener)
* Find these in their own writing and in other texts.
* Student evaluation of their expository essay with a rubric.(Revise introduction)

WEDNESDAY, January 11

   *  Practice using the first two comma rules in sentences: fanboys and opener
   * Find these in their own writing and in other texts.
