* Presentation & explanation  from a question in DBM 2
*COMPOSITION
- Students compare their paragraphs with that of a published author to see how close their version was to the published text.
- Models of how a paragraph can be de-cluttered and sentences combined.

Tuesday, February 13
* Quotable Quotes: Aesop's Fables
* GRAMMAR
* DBM 1 Item Presentation
     - Go over benchmark test through student presentations.
 * COMPOSITION
     -Students revisit their compositions to check on Capitalization, Usage, Punctuation,and Spelling (CUPS) .
    
Wednesday, February 14
*Quotable Quotes: Aesop's Fables
GRAMMAR
     - Students continue grammar presentation
     - Sentence continue editing their essay.
COMPOSITION
    - Students begin reviewing expository strategies again.
    - Students practice making introductions using attention grabbers.

Thursday, February 15
Quotable Quotes: Aesop's Fables
GRAMMAR
    - Student presentations
    - Sentence combination/revision/editing
    -Mini-lesson on apostrophes in contractions and possessives
COMPOSITION
    - Students practice making body paragraphs.

Friday, February 16

    - Student presentations

    - Students are exposed to dialogue rules and practice same
COMPOSITION
    - Students practice conclusions.
