* Students are given an expository prompt to brainstorm.

* They start making an outline of their ideas.

WEDNESDAY, November 16

* Students start writing the introduction of their essay.

* A mini-lesson is given about writing the controlling idea.

* Students will also write their first body paragraph.

   

     THURSDAY, November 17

   * Students write the body and conclusion of their essay.
